Harlem Renaissance SoireeNOVEMBER 4, 2024
This was an unforgettable evening that paid tribute to the rich cultural and artistic legacy of the Harlem Renaissance. Held at the historic Majestic Metro in Downtown Houston, the event transported guests back to the glamour of the 1920s with elegant décor, exhilarating live entertainment, and an electric dance floor. Attendees were immersed in a celebration of African American music, dance, art, fashion, and literature, creating a truly enchanting atmosphere.
With the esteemed Renee Elise Goldsberry and her mother, Dr. Betty Sanders, serving as Honorary Co-Chairs, the soirée brought together a community of philanthropists and supporters dedicated to making a difference. Proceeds from the evening directly supported Twelve Days of Christmas, Inc. Houston Chapter’s mission to empower at-risk children and alleviate the impact of poverty on families in need. Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and guests, the event was a resounding success, helping to sustain and expand vital initiatives that uplift our community. |
